Varanasi, India, 2010: while floating down the Ganges River watching the sun rise, the idea to paint silk hit me like lightening. I wandered India studying yoga and meditation; gathering information about painting silk. This became my main medium and I spent the next nine years expanding the possibilities of silk painting; doing things that had never before been done with the art form. I made things that are both fine art and garment, showing my work all over the world in countless galleries, couture boutiques and fine art festivals.

I understand and see every day that my life is truly my own creation. The more time I spend exploring dimensions with meditation and art, the stranger and more amazing my life becomes. I went from nomadic artist to empowered single mother.   I illustrated books on Neolithic Eastern European Matriarchal tribes, channeling an ancient symbolic language that went on to influence my own way of communicating with art. I've painted and apprenticed under legendary artists, made art for Cathedrals, Mosques and Synagogues all over the world, made peace in small war-torn villages with my art, predicted futures in art trance, channeled angels and deities, studied with yoga and meditation masters, performed painting live at amazing parties and danced and danced and danced.

I was born and raised in Colorado. After following the wind all over the planet for over a decade, I chose to return to Paonia for the joy and also the optimal childhood of my 8 year son, Alastar. I work here now as a tantric coach, meditation/yoga instructor and artist.
