Silk Painted With Dye

Silk is a wonderful way to explore abstraction.  It's wild and hard to control, so I work in collaboration with it--trusting it to flow into perfection as a moving meditation.   This work is truly fine art silk and as these paintings interact with skin, furniture, air and space. All silk is painted with dye and steam-set for 5 hours, so it can be gently washed, dried, ironed.  These paintings are multi-dimensional, functional and ready to participate in your life on many levels.
